Last updated: 17 October 2026.<\/strong> These terms describe use of the Institute Forum Meetings integration. They supplement, and do not replace, the forum’s wider membership arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Swedish Institute of Inner Technology AB provides Institute Forum Meetings as a feature of its invitation-only forum. It enables eligible organizers to create Google Calendar events with Google Meet links and share those links in the corresponding forum space. Google Calendar and Google Meet are third-party services, not services operated by the Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility and your account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You must have authorized access to the forum and permission to organize meetings in the relevant space. In the installed integration, scheduling is available to active space owners and moderators, and site administrators. Connecting Google does not grant a forum membership or a space-management role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connect only a Google account you are authorized to use. Review Google’s permission request and check the connected email shown in the forum before scheduling. Each organizer uses their own saved connection. An absent or unusable connection is not replaced with another organizer’s account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scheduling and sharing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Check the meeting title, date, start and end times, and time zone before submitting. The integration creates the event in the connected account’s primary Google Calendar. Meeting details and the joining link are displayed in the relevant forum space. Use the optional email checkbox only when you intend those details to be emailed to current active space members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not place information in a meeting title or space name that you do not intend to send to Google or share as described in the privacy notice. Do not forward private meeting links outside their intended audience without permission. A forum’s invitation rules do not replace Google’s own meeting-admission controls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsible use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Use the service for legitimate activity in your forum space. Do not impersonate another person, connect an account without authorization, send unsolicited meeting invitations, or attempt to bypass space permissions. Obtain any permissions required for material you share or any recording you choose to make using a separate service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Availability and changes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Meeting creation depends on a working personal Google connection, Google’s service availability, and any account or workplace restrictions. The integration does not guarantee uninterrupted service or particular Google Meet features. A pending creation message is not confirmation that a usable link exists; check the displayed result and your Google Calendar before sharing a meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current forum integration does not provide a complete Google Calendar editing or cancellation interface. Manage an existing Google event in Google Calendar. Do not assume that later changes or cancellations there will automatically update the forum record; notify the space and contact support when a displayed forum record also needs correction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disconnecting and privacy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can disconnect your saved Google authorization through the meeting controls and remove the application’s access from your Google Account. Disconnecting does not cancel existing Google events, delete stored forum meeting records, or retract messages already delivered. The meeting integration privacy notice<\/a> explains data use and deletion requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
