Adah Parris
Artist · Futurist · Author
What if the future of intelligence is as much about who we listen to as what machines can calculate?

Biography
Adah Parris works across art, technology, futures practice and leadership. Her work asks organisations to look beyond efficiency and technical capability toward relationships, power, embodied knowledge and the people excluded from dominant narratives. Her public practice combines keynote conversations, small-scale salons, creative experimentation and longer organisational residencies.
Philosophy & approach
Her approach begins with listening. In her work on AI ethics, a central question is not simply whether a system can be made to behave correctly, but who participated in defining the problem and whose experience remains outside the dataset. Through somatic AI practice, she invites people to attend to their responses before acting on a technological answer. She also brings a longer horizon into leadership through the question of what kind of ancestor one chooses to become.
Selected work & current practice
Parris is the author of Leadership Legacy, works on ethical futures and ecological questions, and has developed thequestion.earth, a project placing different modes of knowing into productive comparison. Her public website documents her speaking, salons, threshold sittings and futurist-in-residence work. She has been recognised on Computer Weekly’s Influential Women in UK Technology longlist.
